Roy Keane has called Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka a ‘top player’ after he scored during England’s 3-0 win over Senegal during the last-16 stage of the World Cup.

That the 21-year-old’s third goal of the Qatar World Cup and Keane added how the Arsenal star, along with the likes of Phil Foden, are ‘producing week in and week out’.

Arsenal fans have watched that magic unfold on the Premier League stage and it’s a big reason why they are sitting at the top of the table under Mikel Arteta.

For some, heading to this unique winter World Cup could be a hindrance, especially if you don’t perform and your team gets knocked out early.

But not for Saka, who is shining even brighter and Keane is loving what he is seeing from the young gun, as he told ITV Sport.

“We spoke about these players before the game,” said Keane. “What they are doing is producing. It is about what you do today.

“Yes, France is coming up during the next few days. But that’s where the players deserve credit. They are producing week in and week out. That’s why they are top players. Still young, their best days are still ahead, but they are fantastic and producing.”

ENGLAND V FRANCE

The showdown of the tournament will take place on Saturday when England lock horns with the current world champions, France.

Free-scoring side, with top, top talent in the attacking areas, this is going to be some battle.

Whilst a certain Kylian Mbappe will be looking to cause chaos from out wide, France need to watch out for England’s in-form star in Saka because he has cooked in big games before and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he does it again.
