As you may have heard, Liverpool are having a tough time trying to keep Mohamed Salah at Anfield, as contract talks stall.
According to the Guardian, the Egypt international is not happy with the salary on offer, and wants an increase in wages.

Barcelona have been mentioned as a potential destination for Salah, and now, Joan Laporta – President of the Spanish giants – has commented.
What’s the story?
Well, the 59-year-old gave an interesting answer when quizzed on Barcelona’s alleged interest in the £34m forward.
As quoted by RAC1, Laporta said: “Top players want to join Barça, that’s clear. I can’t say if we’re in talks for Lewandowski and Salah or not – or into the club they’ll tell me that I’m creating problems in the negotiations.”
Clearly, the Spaniard is keen to remain coy on the situation, and keep his cards close to his chest.
Despite their financial issues, Barcelona would surely do all they can to sign Salah if the opportunity arose.
The 29-year-old has scored 28 goals in 36 games this season, while also providing ten assists – he has arguably been the best player in Europe.
Liverpool can turn Mohamed Salah situation into a positive

In our view, if Salah forces a move to Barcelona, Liverpool can still get something good out of it.
It has been said that the Reds are interested in two Barcelona wonderkids, Gavi and Ronald Araujo.
Both prospects are yet to sign new contracts at the Camp Nou, so we believe there’s a chance of a player-plus-cash deal between Liverpool and Barcelona, if Jürgen Klopp can’t keep the Egyptian on Merseyside.
It would be a nightmare if Salah left.

However, if Liverpool can get two gems from the deal – one aged 17, one aged 23 – then it would be a decent move for the long-term, given the fact Salah is 29.
Keep an eye on this saga, as things could develop quickly.
