Some rival fans would like their club to sign Everton’s Lucas Digne after they seemingly put in a bid for Sergio Reguilon.

Sky Sports have claimed that Everton have bid £18 million for the Real Madrid left-back, who impressed during his loan stint at Sevilla during the recently concluded campaign.

Some Chelsea fans feel that this could be their chance to sign Digne, as they are in need of a left-back, with that spot being a problem area for manager Frank Lampard.

Just because the Toffees are seemingly keen on Reguilon, it doesn’t mean that they want to part ways with Digne because he is one of their best players.

Whilst Everton endured a below-average season during the recent campaign, Digne was still a top performer and it’s clear that he should be playing European football.

For Everton’s sake, they will be hoping he stays and pushes them there, along with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, but other clubs may well use that to their advantage.

Even if Digne does stay put at Goodison Park, that doesn’t hide the fact that he has admirers outside of Merseyside because his performances are impressing fans of other clubs.
