Speaking on Everton’s YouTube channel, Josh King has claimed that Leeds United run more than any other team in the Premier League.

The Toffees managed to beat the Whites earlier this week, but they had to work hard for their win as the ever-energetic Leeds United ran themselves into the ground.

King seems to have been staggered by the amount of running Leeds did, claiming that they run more than any other side in the division.

“I hadn’t trained with the lads, and then I’m straight on the coach travelling to Leeds, and then I come on against Leeds who probably run the most in the league,”

King then went on to speak a little bit how coming on as a substitute against Leeds was tough because of their energy, before saying he was relieved that it’s over.

“But that was ok, that’s over now, so I was thrilled getting my debut and I just have to work hard and learn a lot here.”

This is quite a big compliment from King, and even though his side were the winners this week, he was seemingly quite impressed by what he saw from Leeds.

Leeds do run a lot, and it’s not just running for running’s sake, their electric pace and energy makes them one of the most effective attacking outfits in the country, even if their gung-ho style does leave them exposed at the back from time to time.

One thing is for certain, every team in the country is taking notice of Leeds United when they play against them.
