Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto reportedly wants to join Sean Dyche’s Everton in the summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Everton are keen on signing Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

The Italian journalist has claimed that the Italy international winger himself wants to move to Everton.

Gnonto has already reportedly agreed personal terms with the Premier League club.

Romano has claimed that because of his desire to play for Everton, the winger decided not to turn out for Leeds in midweek.

Leeds United should sell Wilfried Gnonto to Everton

In our opinion, Leeds United should just sell Wilfried Gnonto to Everton in the summer transfer window.

There is no point in Leeds keeping a player against his wish.

Of course, the Championship club need to make sure that they get a good transfer fee for the Italian, but Leeds should not be hell-bent on keeping the winger.

It will be disappointing for Leeds fans that Gnonto does not want to stay and help the club win promotion from the Championship.

After all, the winger joined the Whites only last summer.

Gnonto made 24 appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season.

The Italian teenager scored two goals and gave four assists in those games.

Everton are a big and established club in the Premier League.

We believe that the winger would make Sean Dyche’s side better and make them more potent in attack.

Gnonto has pace and skills, and his dynamism and willingness to take on opposition players would make Everton a very threatening team in attack.

It will be interesting to see how much transfer fee Leeds demand from Everton for Gnonto.
