Newcastle United fans on Twitter were impressed by Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele on Sunday.
Spurs recorded a 2-2 draw against Newcastle, with Kane netting a brace and Joe Willock coming off the bench to rescue a much-deserved draw for his side.
Whilst Steve Bruce has had a lot of criticism for how Newcastle have set up and performed of late, it could be argued that they were the ones who deserved all three points yesterday.
Kane’s brace means that he is now the Premier League’s top goalscorer and assist maker, which is an incredible achievement with eight games of the season remaining.
There’s no stopping the thriving England star and Newcastle supporters appreciated what he was producing at St James’ Park.
A certain Alan Shearer’s record will be in Kane’s sights, and whilst the Toon Army faithful will be hoping he doesn’t break it, he is a long way from that yet.
But Kane wasn’t the only one impressing, with Tottenham’s quick-footed midfielder, Ndombele shining once more and supplying the assist for Kane’s second.
