Joel Matip has left Liverpool fans in hysterics after his performance in training yesterday.
Hilarious moment
After seeing Virgil van Dijk nutmeg Kostas Tsimikas, Matip could not help but try and embarrass the Greek defender more.
He celebrated the piece of skill with great vigour, and then produced some dancing moves as he was passing the ball.
All of Liverpool’s players looked in good spirits, as they went through their passing drills.
But it was Matip’s actions which left the Reds fans laughing on social media.
Strong comeback
Matip has had a wonderful season at Liverpool so far, after breaking back into the team.
The rangy central defender has returned to fitness and his re-inclusion into the starting line-up could hardly have gone better.
Although Liverpool looked rather shaky at the back against Brentford last week, they have generally been very impressive.
The Reds are next in action at the weekend against Manchester City, when they could be given their toughest defensive test yet.
