Liverpool fans have been left in hysterics at Thiago Alcantara’s reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal against Newcastle United last night.

Alexander-Arnold sealed Liverpool’s three points against Newcastle with a quite wonderful strike from distance.
The goal came out of nowhere, with the full-back simply winding back and unleashing an unstoppable shot from what looked an innocuous position.
Many in the ground were left in shock after the ball flew into the top corner, and it appears that Thiago was one of the players in disbelief.
The Spaniard turned round and stood with his hands on his head after seeing the piece of magic.
And Liverpool fans have been left laughing at their midfielder’s reaction which rather resembled their own.

Thiago may have been shocked to see the goal fly in in such circumstances, but for Alexander-Arnold it was no fluke.
The England international is one of the very best strikers of a football in the world.
He is usually at his biggest goalscoring threat from set pieces, but he may well start taking on more long range shots after last night’s heroics.
Liverpool were actually caused some problems by Newcastle last night, but Alexander-Arnold’s goal settled any nerves they may have had in the final stages.
The Reds’ win means that they have really been able to keep the pressure on at the top of the Premier League table, with Jurgen Klopp’s side perched just one point behind Manchester City.
