The situation surrounding Jack Price at Molineux proves how fortunate Paul Lambert really is.
Jack Price has always been considered an underrated member of the Wolverhampton Wanderers squad. The midfielder has been ever consistent for the club whenever he has been in the starting XI, and his quality speaks for itself. However, his absence in the last few weeks perplexed quite a few members of the fanbase.
According to Lambert it was down to a slight niggle, and the ease with which he was able to replace Price proves just how lucky Lambert is with the players he has at his disposal. For a new manager coming in it is as if a lot of the work in terms of transfers has been done for him.

Lambert now needs to make some big decisions in January, but having such an abundance of options when a player goes down injured is such a big privilege for him. Especially at this level when the quality tends to fluctuate much more than in the top flight.
Price’s ability to keep hold of the ball, read the tempo of the game and make the necessary challenges to win it back are all underrated features that not many other stars in the squad have.
A good chunk of Wolves fans will insist upon Price returning to the starting line-up, but the beauty of Lambert’s position is that the competition is fierce. Whether that is a blessing or a disguise is certainly up for debate, but as of now Wolves have alot of bullets in the chamber.
