Derby County are said to have failed with an offer of around £2 million for the Preston North End winger.
Preston North End winger Callum Robinson does not appear to have had his head turned by a recent bid from Derby County.
Derby are said to have seen an offer of around £2 million rejected by the Lilywhites, as Rams boss Gary Rowett continues to search for Tom Ince’s replacement.

But after a positive start to the new Championship season, courtesy of Saturday’s 1-0 win against much-fancied Sheffield Wednesday, Robinson seems focused on the season ahead at Preston.
“I’m just here to play for the gaffer (Alex Neil) and the lads,” Robinson told The Lancashire Evening Post. “I don’t really look into all that stuff. I’m really enjoying it here and I’ve got a job to do.
“The main thing is to make sure I play well now and for the season ahead.”
Robinson scored 11 goals in his first season at Preston, just two shy of teammate Jordan Hugill who has also been linked with a move away from Preston this summer.
And the former Aston Villa man conceded: “Whatever’s out there it’s nice to be noticed.
“It’s because we’ve worked hard and that’s what we’ll keep doing, me and Jordan. We’ll keep working hard for the team and hopefully we can win at lot of games at Deepdale and have a good season.”

Ince, who was Derby’s top scorer with 15 last term, was sold to Huddersfield for a fee which could rise to £11 million, and have reinvested some of that money in Liverpool’s Andre Wisdom and Hull City pair Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone.
But Rowett is still on the lookout for another wide player, having also been rebuffed in an attempt to sign Tom Lawrence from Leicester City – although whether he will return for Robinson remains to be seen.
