Robinson scored in Preston North End’s 3-2 defeat at Sheffield United on Saturday.

One Preston North End player appears to have made a positive impression on fans of Sheffield United on Saturday.
Callum Robinson’s goal sparked an albeit short-lived comeback by the visitors at Bramall Lane, allowing Daniel Johnson to equalise before David McGoldrick’s late winner, and left some Unitedites pining for the winger – for whom unofficial reports claim was the subject of a Blades bid in the summer transfer window.
Worryingly for Preston, neither Sheffield United nor their manager Chris Wilder are ones to take rejection lightly, as evidenced by the club’s recent captures of John Egan, Ricky Holmes, Ryan Leonard and others following reportedly, in some cases, year-long pursuits.

This is what those of a Blades persuasion are saying on Twitter…
Goals from Billy Sharp and Chris Basham looked to have put Sheffield United in full control before Robinson and Johnson’s strikes set up a nervy final 10-or-so minutes at Bramall Lane.
Would Preston’s Robinson be a good addition for Sheffield United?
