Preston won the game on the pitch 3-1.

Leeds United were defeated 3-1 away to Preston North End last night – and were made fun off off it.
The Whites have arguably the most dedicated fan base in the Championship, and at times, they are not shy about boasting about it.
Considering the club’s lack of footballing success over the last decade, fans must celebrate what they can.
But last night this prompted Preston’s police force to take a light-hearted dig at the Whites, joking there were more than 65,000 travelling fans.
Of course if there were 65,000 Leeds fans in attendance, the joke would have been on Preston’s police force trying to contain them.
On the pitch Leeds started strongly, going 1-0 up at Deepdale.
But once they conceded an equaliser, they began to wobble, and Preston eased to a 3-1 win.
