Leeds United move back into the automatic places on Tuesday night after they secured a comfortable win over Preston North End.

Preston North End manager Alex Neil has claimed that Leeds are ‘the best team’ he has seen since he has been in the Championship.
On Tuesday night, Marcelo Bielsa’s side ran out 2-0 winners against North End, with striker Patrick Bamford netting a brace.
It was a brilliant response from the promotion-chasing side who were beaten at Birmingham City over the weekend.
The performance seemingly impressed the opposition manager who offered nothing but praise to the Yorkshire club, as posted on Preston’s official Twitter account:
Neil has been managing in English football since 2015 when he moved from Scottish Premiership side Hamilton to join Norwich City.
In the game itself, Leeds made a bright start and were no doubt the better team but they went into the break goalless.

Minutes after the restart, Ben Pearson was sent off for Preston which gave the away team the advantage and they capitalised with Bamford opening the scoring with a stunning strike from outside of the box before he made sure of the points late on.
The much-needed and valuable three points moves Bielsa’s side back into second place and ahead of their rivals Sheffield United, who travel to St Andrew’s on Wednesday.
