West Ham United signed Jorgan Hugill from Preston North End, but the move hasn’t worked out as hoped.
Preston North End fans generally appear keen on the idea that they could sign Jordan Hugill from West Ham United this summer.
West Ham bought Hugill from Preston back in 2018, but his time at the London Stadium has not been much of a success.
It seems almost certain that the target-man will leave West Ham this summer, and The Sun (20 June, page 49) claim that he is set to move to Preston.
Hugill’s previous spell at North End was excellent, particularly in his final season where he scored frequently.
And most North End fans are keen to see Hugill brought back from West Ham.
Preston would surely be able to buy Hugill back from West Ham for a cheaper fee than they received from the Hammers two years ago.
Hugill has only made a limited impact ever since leaving Preston, even after joining Middlesbrough in the Championship on loan last term.
West Ham are expected to reshuffle their attack this summer, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side likely to sign another striker.
