Preston North End are keeping tabs on Hearts defender Jamie Brandon, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Brandon broke into the Hearts first-team at the back end of last season making his debut against champions Celtic in May.
The 19-year-old has continued his rapid rise in the Hearts first-team this season by starting every game so far this term and he has impressed for the Edinburgh outfit.
Brandon’s emergence at Hearts has not gone unnoticed among clubs south of the border with scouts with several teams in England casting an eye over the teenager already this season.

Brandon started his career at Rangers, but failed to make the breakthrough at Ibrox and joined Hearts last summer on a free transfer.
Brandon, who can play in defence or midfield, is in the final year of his contract at Tynecastle and given that he has only been at the club since last summer he could be available for a minimal fee.
Preston boss Alex Neil is looking to bolster his squad at Deepdale before the close of the transfer window and he is weighing up a move for Brandon.
