Marco Silva has put the pressure on Everton to sign Andre Gomes.

Everton boss Marco Silva has told The Telegraph that he wants the club to do everything possible to sign Andre Gomes this summer.
The Toffees ended their season on Sunday afternoon, drawing 2-2 away at Tottenham Hotspur as Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun found the net.
Everton secured eighth place with that point, but missing out on European qualification will sting for Silva and co ahead of a crucial transfer window.
Marcel Brands loves to do his business in the summer rather than in January, and with more young talent needed at Goodison Park, Everton will surely be busy.
One of the key targets will be midfielder Andre Gomes, as the Barcelona loanee has impressed at Everton this season, meaning Silva wants a permanent deal for his compatriot.
SPORT report that Tottenham have already agreed terms with Gomes’ agent though, as they prepare a £26million bid – meaning Everton need to move quickly.

Now, Silva has commented on the situation, saying; “As a club, we have to do everything to sign him” in the aftermath of Sunday’s game.
That leaves the pressure on director of football Brands and majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri to get a deal done and put up the cash respectively, with the situation seemingly not in Silva’s hands.
Silva has though put the onus on Brands and Moshiri by saying it’s on the club to ‘do everything’ to secure him, and it remains to be seen whether they can pip Spurs.
