Kenya is proud of Victor Wanyama clinching a move to Tottenham.
Victor Wanyama has clinched his move to Tottenham Hotspur, signing a five-year deal until 2021.
Tottenham confirmed the move on their official website, with the midfielder rejoining head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who he played under at Southampton.

Wanyama’s move was big news in his homeland of Kenya, where he is their most high profile and most expensive player.
The country’s President Uhuru Kenyatta commented on Twitter in wake of the deal’s completion, to tell Wanyama that the nation is proud of him.
Wanyama’s move to Tottenham provides him with an even higher profile, able to play in the Champions League once again as he did at Celtic, and even challenge for the title.
The midfielder would become the first Kenyan footballer to win the Premier League if Spurs can make the jump next season, and his progression in his career will only serve to inspire future generations in the country.
