All the Premier League ins and outs for the 2024/25 summer transfer window from big-money signings to loans and from heartbreaking exits to releases.

The summer transfer window is in full swing with the Premier League’s clubs doing their best to strengthen and finely tune their squads ahead of the new season.

Here is every transfer completed by every Premier League team so far this summer.

Arsenal confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

David Raya secured a permanent transfer to Arsenal from Brentford in July after the club took up their £27m option to buy.

The Spain international became their first signing of the summer after spending last season on loan in a £3m deal.

On securing his permanent transfer to Arsenal, Raya said: “I’m excited to see what the future holds but always living in and enjoying the present. It’s a dream come true to be here and I want to thank you for all the support you have already given me throughout the last year.”

Mike Biereth became the first senior player to leave Arsenal in July after securing a £4m transfer to SK Sturm Graz. The striker signed permanently with the Austrian Bundesliga side after spending the latter half of 2023/24 on loan at the club.

Lazio signed Nuno Tavares on a season-long loan from Arsenal this July in a deal that includes a £7.5m obligation to buy. The left-back failed to convince Mikel Arteta that he deserved a recall after an injury-plagued stint at Nottingham Forest last season.

Arsenal sent Albert Sambi Lokonga on a season-long loan to Sevilla with a £10m option to buy in July. The midfielder has spent the past 18 months away from north London after stints with Crystal Palace and Luton Town.

Aston Villa confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Cameron Archer came back to Aston Villa after less than a year away from the club. The striker returned to Villa Park for £18 million from Sheffield United due to the Blades’ relegation activating a clause in his original transfer.

Ross Barkley returned to Villa Park after signing from Luton for £5 million in July. The midfielder signed a three-year contract helping to reinforce the club’s options going into the new campaign.

Villa confirmed the capture of Samuel Iling-Junior as well as Enzo Barrenechea in July as part of a double deal from Juventus following Douglas Luiz’s departure. The duo joined for a combined fee of £18.6 million.

Aston Villa brought in Lewis Dobbin from Everton in June to make their first major signing of the summer. The winger joined for a fee believed to be around £10 million.

Ian Maatsen was brought in from Chelsea as Unai Emery increased his options at left-back in late June. The defender was signed for a fee of £37.5 million.

Upon arriving Maatsen said: “It’s an honour, I’ve been waiting for this moment because I’ve been at the Euros. Now I’m finally here it feels official, so I can’t wait to get started.

“You see the boys training on the social media accounts and you’re just thinking, ‘I want to go back and get to know all the lads and get started’.”

Villa made another big signing in July when they brought in Everton midfielder Amadou Onana for £50 million. The 22-year-old will once again add to the club’s options and is set to stay until at least June 2029 after signing a five-year deal.

Jaden Philogene rejoined Villa less than 12 months after leaving the club in mid-July. Emery’s side activated their matching rights, beating Ipswich to the signing for £18 million.

“However, the club will only have to pay £13.5 million due to their 30% sell-on clause.

Upon signing he said: “It feels amazing, it’s like I’m back at home. Unai spoke to me face-to-face and we had a very good conversation about my playing time.

“He said I did well when I was here in pre-season last year and that I’m going to get chances this time. It also depends on me and how I play.”

Villa youngster Tim Iroegbunam departed Villa Park in June as he joined fellow Premier League side Everton. The fee was believed to be around £9 million.

Villa parted with Douglas Luiz after his five-year stay at Villa Park in June. The Brazilian joined Italian giants Juventus for a fee of £42.4 million.

Morgan Sanson earned a permanent move away from Aston Villa as he joined French side Nice on a permanent basis. The club earned €4 million for the deal.

Finish international Viljami Sinisalo signed for Scottish champions Celtic in mid-July on a five-year deal. The fee was believed to be around £1 million for the goalkeeper.

Bournemouth confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Bournemouth paid a £1.5m training fee to sign Sheffield United starlet Daniel Jebbison when his contract expired but he could head back out on loan.

Neill Blake, Bournemouth’s chief executive, said via the BBC: “We’re very pleased to have Daniel sign a long-term deal with us. He has many promising attributes and has already provided some memorable moments in his young career so far.”

Highly-rated goalkeeper Alex Paulsen was signed from Wellington Phoenix with the New Zealander signing a four-year deal.

“I’m humbled to be considered worthy of signing with Bournemouth in the Premier League,” Paulsen told the club’s official website.

“It means the world to me, my family and to my friends to be offered an opportunity to play in the best league on the planet, which most aspiring young footballers only dream of.”

Winger Luis Sinisterra impressed enough on loan at Bournemouth last season that the Cherries have paid £20m to sign him permanently, with the deal being agreed in February.

“I’m really happy to make this move. I’m excited to play for Bournemouth for the long term,” Sinisterra told the club’s official website.

“I feel really comfortable here and the fans are really nice. When I meet them in the streets, they show the love.”

Bournemouth have also moved to bring Enes Unal back to the club on a full-time basis after impressing on loan in the second half of last season. He has signed a four-year deal.

“I’m so happy to be heading back to Bournemouth for the new season,” Unal told the club’s website.

“I enjoyed testing myself in the Premier League while regaining my fitness, and now I am really excited for the years ahead.”

Brentford confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Brazilian forward Igor Thiago has become Brentford’s record signing after completing his £30m move which was agreed in February. He scored 18 in 34 games last season.

“I’m very happy to have signed for Brentford and to get to know the club,” Thiago said, via the BBC.

“It’s an immense source of happiness for me, to be able to play for this club in the Premier League.”

Brighton confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Brighton have spent £30m on 19-year-old Gambian winger Newcastle United, who has signed a five-year deal. He never played for the Magpies, spending last season on loan at Feyenoord where he scored 10 times.

“Yankuba is a young talent that has attracted a lot of interest, so we’re delighted to welcome him to the club,” said Brighton technical director David Weir, via the BBC.

Ibrahim Osman is another 19-year-old winger Brighton have splashed the cash on and he has also signed a five-year deal.

Weir said, via Sky Sports: “We’re looking forward to the opportunity of working with Ibrahim.

“He’s a young and exciting prospect, but for now it’s important that we give him the space to focus fully on Nordsjaelland, where he is enjoying a good season.”

Brighton’s spending spree continued with the addition of another of Feyenoord’s best players in midfielder Mats Wieffer, who has signed until 2029.

“We’re delighted to welcome Mats to the club, a player whose qualities we have admired for a long time,” Weird said, via the BBC.

“He has a lot of experience in the Champions League as well as the Eredivisie and has developed into one of the best deep-lying midfielders in Europe.

Brighton have continued their habit of signing young talent by recruiting 18-year-old midfielder Malick Yalcouye.

Manager Fabian Hurzeler said, via the BBC: “He is a talented midfielder with lots of potential to develop into a top-class player.

“He’s excited about this next stage of his career and we’re looking forward to helping him progress.”

Chelsea confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall will be reunited with his former boss Enzo Maresca, this time only in the reflex blue of Chelsea as opposed to the light of Leicester. The Blues agreed a £30m deal with the Foxes, with Dewsbury-Hall signing on a five-year deal after almost 200 appearances at the King Power.

Maresca managed to prise Spanish striker Marc Guiu away from La Masia, joining Chelsea from Barcelona in a deal believed to be in around the £5m mark. The 18-year-old has penned a five-year contract, and will definitely be one to watch in future.

18-year-old Omari Kellyman swaps Villa Park for Stamford Bridge in a £19m deal this summer. The dynamic attacking midfielder has signed on a six-year deal which will provisionally keep him at Chelsea until 2030.

Centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo joined the Blues on a free transfer from Fulham. The towering defender who started his career at Manchester City has put pen to paper at Stamford Bridge on a four-year deal.

Renato Veiga signed from FC Basel in July 2024 for just £12m, a bargain in this day and age. The Portuguese youngster is mainly a defensive midfielder, but he can also play as a centre-back or left-back.

Maresca raided the MLS to complete the signing of defender Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United.

The 19-year-old has joined on a six-year deal for a fee of about £8.5m, with a club option of a further year

Esteveo Willian is the next exciting wonderkid to join Chelsea’s ranks, having signed from Brazilian side Palmeiras for £29.1m. The 17-year-old, although confirmed in this window, will link up with Enzo Maresca and co in a year’s time in the summer of 2025

Crystal Palace confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Chadi Riad joined Crystal Palace on June 14th as part of a £14million deal from Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Moroccan international was the first signing of Oliver Glasner’s era at Selhurst Park, strengthening the centre-back ranks at the club.

Crystal Palace pushed hard to land the free transfer of Daichi Kamada from Lazio, with the attacking midfielder becoming their second signing of the summer.

The Japanese international has previous experience working under Glasner, having won the Europa League with him at Eintracht Frankfurt.

On the reunion, Kamada told the official Crystal Palace website: “I’m excited to be joining Crystal Palace, and to be working with Oliver – who is a coach I know well – again.

“I am looking forward to testing myself in the Premier League, and hopefully the club and I can achieve all of our objectives together.”

Crystal Palace star Michael Olise left the club this summer in a £50.8million deal to join Bayern Munich.

The 22-year-old winger told the official Bayern Munich website: “The talks with FC Bayern were very positive, and I’m very happy to now be playing for such a big club.

“It’s a great challenge, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and play my part in ensuring that we win as many titles as possible with our team in the coming years.”

Everton have once again signed winger Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds United for another rseason.

Tim Iroegbunam spent last season on loan at QPR and Everton have moved to sign the promising midfielder.

“We’re pleased to add Tim to our midfield options,” Sean Dyche said, via the BBC.

“He is a young player who is still learning and developing but clearly has a lot of the qualities we want in that area of the pitch.”

Everton have made the potential shrewd signing of attacking-midfielder Iliman Ndiaye, who was Sheffield United’s best player when they were promoted to the Premier League in 2022/23,

The 24-year-old struggled in Ligue 1 last season but Dyche will be aiming to get him back to his best.

“I am so pleased to be an Everton player,” he said, via Sky Sports.“The main reasons I wanted to join were how big the club is, its history and the part I can play in helping the team in the forward direction it is going in.

“I’m so excited and can’t wait to get going.”

Ipswich have added some firepower up front by spending £20m on highly-rated Manchester City striker Liam Delap, though it is a gamble given his underwhelming loan stints in the Championship.

“The manager here likes to play exciting football. It’s quick and intense and I am looking forward to that,” Delap told Ipswich’s website.

“I want to bring goals and assists and I’ll work as hard as I can to help the team.”

The Tractor Boys splashed out a club-record fee of £18m, plus add-ons, to bring skilful winger Omari Hutchinson back to the club after his massive contributions to their promotion.

Kieran McKenna said, via Sky Sports: We’re so pleased to bring Omari back on a permanent basis.

“Omari is someone we all enjoyed working with last season and the staff, his teammates and supporters all saw how he grew and developed over the course of the year, which is testament to the hard work he put in.

Centre-back Jacob Greaves was recruited on a five-year deal to add some much-needed steel to the backline ahead of the gruelling top-flight campaign.

“As soon as I heard about the interest, I was keen to get the move over the line. Now that it’s done I am really happy,” he said, via the BBC.

“I’ve spoken to Kieran several times and those conversations have made me very excited for the future here. We spoke about tactics, playing style and life off the pitch and every time we’ve spoken it’s been spot on.”

Ipswich are believed to have spent around £15m on Burnley goalkeeper Aro Muric, who has signed a four-year deal.

“I’m looking forward to getting started,” Muric told TownTV, via the BBC.

“I watched how the team played last season and feel the style will suit me very well, so this is the perfect move for me.”

Right-back Ben Johnson joined Ipswich on a free transfer after being released by West Ham.

“Ben is a player who fits the profile we like to bring to the club,” McKenna told the club website.

“He is a young and talented defender with good technical quality, as well as excellent physical attributes.”

Leicester City confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Leicester made sure to sign exciting winger Abdul Fatawu on a permanent deal this summer after his fantastic season on loan last year.

He told the club web site: “I feel amazing. It’s so good to be back and I’m just back to focus again for next season. I feel so much motivation to be in the Premier League.

“It’s something new to me. I’m going to go hard for that, with the team. I can’t wait to see [my team-mates]. I’ve missed them so much. They are like a family now.

“I didn’t think I’d miss some of them, but when I went away, I was really missing them! I can’t wait to see them.”

The Foxes have strengthened their defensive options with the signing of centre-back Caleb Pkoli on a five-year contract.

“I think now is the right moment [for me] to make a step forward and a very big one,” he told the club website.

“I’m very happy with the choice I made, so I’m very excited to start in the Premier League. Now I’m here in Leicester I’m feeling ready to start with my new team.

In a potential canny move, Leicester swooped in to bring Fulham playmaker Bobby Decordova-Reid in on a free transfer.

He told the club website: “Turning up here was a special moment, looking around and seeing the infrastructure. It’s got that wow factor. It feels nice. I’m delighted to be here and I can’t wait to get going.

“I had a good chat with the Manager, he told me the vision of the Club. I spoke to him a few times and he was very clear in what he wanted and what he saw in me. He believes in me and it’s a perfect fit for me.”

Anderson Arroyo left Liverpool in a permanent transfer to Burgos CF in July. The right-back never featured for the Reds during his six-and-a-half years at Anfield.

Liverpool sent Calvin Ramsay on a season-long loan to Wigan Athletic in June. The right-back stepped down to League One after struggling to earn regular minutes during a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers after starting 2023/24 at Preston North End.

Manchester City confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Manchester City made exciting winger Savinho their first signing of the summer after agreeing a deal with sister club Troyes back in February. They have paid an initial £21m which could rise as high as £33.6m.

He told City’s official website: “I’m so happy to be joining Manchester City, the Premier League champions and Club World Cup winners. Everyone knows they are the best team in the world right now, so to be here is very exciting for me.

“I’m excited about the chance to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest coaches ever, and someone I know will help me improve even more.

Erik ten Hag reinforced his attacking ranks by making towering Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee his first Manchester Untied signing of the summer.

He told United’s website: “Having had discussions with the manager and the leaders of the club I know how exciting the future is going to be here and I cannot wait to play my part in achieving success for Manchester United.

“I am a player who has always dedicated everything to winning; I’m ready for this next challenge, to go to another level in my career and win more trophies.”

After releasing Raphael Varane, United have signed another French centre-back in teenage starlet Leny Yoro.

“Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour,” he told United’s website.

“Since my first conversations with the club, they set out a clear plan for how I can develop in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and showed a lot of care for me and my family.”

Newcastle United confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Newcastle kicked off the transfer window with the permanent signing of Chelsea full-back Lewis Hall, having activated the buy option in the youngster’s loan deal for £28m.

Odysseas Vlachodimos is one of two goalkeepers to sign for Newcastle this summer.

Another defender in Lloyd Kelly has arrived from Bournemouth on a free transfer, linking back up with former manager Eddie Howe. On joining Newcastle, the 25-year-old told the club’s website: “It wasn’t a hard decision for me to come here.

“Working with the gaffer previously, I know what he wants from his players and how he wants his players to play, and I think with what I can bring it just makes sense. I just can’t wait to get started.”

A second goalkeeper signing to bolster the ranks, veteran John Ruddry arrived on a free transfer.

Nottingham Forest confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Nottingham Forest surprised many with their £35m bid for Newcastle midfielder Elliot Anderson. The Magpies academy graduate made over 20 Premier League appearances for Eddie Howe’s side in each of the past two seasons but they had to sell to ease their PSR concerns.

Eric da Silva Moreira joined Forest in a £1.3m deal from Bundesliga club FC St. Pauli on June 25. The versatile youngster, who is the cousin of Chelsea’s Diego Moreira, can play as a full-back, winger or forward.

Nikola Milenkovic signed a five-deal deal at the City Ground after completing a £12m deal from Fiorentina. The centre-back will strengthen Nuno Espirito Santo’s defence.

Brazilian goalkeeper Carlos Miguel left Corinthians for Forest on 9 July. The 25-year-old will be looking to prove to Espirito Santo in pre-season that he can be the club’s first-choice keeper.

New Zealand international Marko Stamenic signed a five-year deal with the Reds, though he will spend the first on loan at Olympiacos.

Shea Cahill, the son of Everton legend Tim Cahill, joined Forest from Australian team Brisbane Roar this summer.

Remo Freuler spent last season on loan at Bologna and he has now joined them permanently for £3.4m

Orel Mangala spent 18 months at Forest and appeared to be a decent signing but they have since parted ways with the Belgium international for a sizeable fee.

Moussa Niakhite has also swapped Nottingham for Lyon as he completed a £27m move on 4 July.

Goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos only joined the Reds last summer but he has already been sold to Newcastle for an undisclosed fee.

Southampton confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Southampton had Flynn Downes on loan in the 2023/24 season and they have now signed him permanently. The English midfielder joined the Saints from West Ham for a transfer fee of £18m.

Ronnie Edwards has been touted as one of the most promising defenders in the EFL for quite some time. He cost Russell Martin’s side £6m from League One Peterborough.

Another defender to join Southampton this summer is Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Like Downes, the former loanee was an integral part of their promotion push.

Yukinari Sugawara is a Japanese international right-back who left Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar for the Saints on 14 July.

Russell Martin coached Nathan Wood in his time as Swansea City manager and he has now signed the defender ahead of Southampton’s return to the Premier League.

Adam Lallana came through Southampton’s academy and played over 200 times for the club. He has since played for Liverpool and Brighton before returning to St Mary’s in this transfer window.

Experienced left-back Charlie Taylor signed for Southampton on a free transfer, having left Burnley at the end of his contract.

Duje Caleta-Car spent last season on loan at Lyon and joined them permanently for an undisclosed fee on 8 July.

Lyanco returned to Brazil with Atletico Mineiro this summer after failing to impress in his time at Southampton.

Romain Perraud was a solid left-back for Southampton but has been sold to La Liga club Real Betis ahead of the new campaign. He has been adequately replaced by Charlie Taylor.

Che Adams’ contract at St Mary’s expired at the end of June, so he could join another club for nothing. The Scotsman has decided that his next adventure will be in Serie A with Torino.

Tottenham confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

Midfielder Lucas Bergvall was signed by Tottenham for a bargain £8.5m from Swedish side Djurgarden.

The Lilywhites have bolstered their youth ranks with the signing of 16-year-old Northern Irish prospect George Feeney from Glentoran, for an undisclosed fee.

Tottenham’s statement signing of the window so far has been the signing of Leeds United youngster Archie Gray, who joined the Lilywhites for £40m in early July.

On his move to Tottenham, the 18-year-old revealed on the club’s YouTube channel he ‘couldn’t say no’ to Spurs, also stating: “I know so many players that are here, not so much the first team but the young
lads and another thing is that it’s a massive project under Ange and it’s something that I want to be a part of.

“I’m not going to lie to you, I’m a massive Celtic fan so I love him and my whole family loves him.”

RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner has returned to the club on another loan deal, having spent the last six months of the 23/24 season at Spurs

Welsh international Joe Rodon has joined Leeds United for £10m, as part of the deal that saw Archie Gray join Spurs.

Academy graduate Japhet Tanganga has also left the club on a free, joining Championship side Millwall.

Record transfer Tanguy Ndombele has returned to France on a free transfer to join OGC Nice, following the termination of his Spurs deal.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg meanwhile has joined French side Marseille on a loan-to-
buy deal, believed to be in the region of £17m.

West Ham confirmed transfers for 24/25 season

A signing that has excited West Ham fans is Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras. The 18-year-old Brazil under-20 international cost £25m.

West Ham’s biggest acquisition of the summer transfer window so far is Max Kilman from Wolves. The central defender cost the Hammers £40m to sign from the fellow Premier League club.

Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham made the move to East London from Sheffield United on a free transfer.

Wolves made their first signing of the summer before the window officially opened when they purchased Tommy Doyle for £4.3 million. The midfielder spent last season on loan from Man City but has now signed a four-year contract at Molineux with the option of another two years.

Upon signing Doyle said: “Everything we do is for the fans. We go out there and give 110 per cent and try to win for them. Their support is massive for us, and it’ll be brilliant to relive it next season and hopefully we can make more memories together.”

Following Doyle, Rodrigo Gomes joined Wolves from Braga in June for £12.7 million. The winger signed a five-year deal with the option of another to strengthen the club’s attacking options.

Gomes said: “I think Wolves is a very good team and the staff and the gaffer wants me a lot and, for me, it’s good to feel that the staff want me. That’s a really good sign.

“I had the best season in my life in Estoril and I’m going to work hard every day to try and surpass that.”

Wolves brought in Brazilian wonderkid Pedro Lima at the start of July from Sport Recife. The 18-year-old joined for £8.5 million, signing a five-year contract with the option of another and is expected to join the first team.


Wolves finally added a striker to their squad when they signed Jorgen Strand Larsen on loan from Celta Viga. A £23 million clause has also been inserted into the deal meaning the transfer will become permanent if certain conditions are met.

The striker said: “It’s been a dream to come to the Premier League ever since I was a kid. I’ve been following it for a long time, but it has to be in the right moment, and it feels like now is a good moment for me to do it.

“I’ve had a good season in Spain, and learnt a lot there, but now I’m ready to make the next step. I’ve been in the Netherlands, also in AC Milan as a young kid, so I’ve had a few ups and downs and I know how to handle them now, but I’m looking forwards for a lot of ups now in this shirt.”

Wolves saw their captain Max Kilman depart the club in July as he joined fellow Premier League rivals West Ham.

The defender joined the capital side for £40 million, reuniting with former Old Gold manager Julen Lopetegui.
