Southampton, West Bromwich Albion and Everton have been voted into the top three.

The results from HITC Sport’s poll looking for the most impressive team performance in the Premier League last weekend are in. But did Everton, West Brom or Southampton take the title following their respective wins?

Everton took third spot on our poll as their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace was deemed to be more impressive than Swansea City’s surprise win over Liverpool at Anfield. Ronald Koeman’s men have now won four of their last five Premier League games, and have kept clean sheets in all of those victories.

2nd: West Brom (26%)

West Brom’s 2-0 win over relegation candidates Sunderland just edges its way into second spot. Two first-half goals from Darren Fletcher and Chris Brunt handed Tony Pulis’ men the three points that kept them within one place and four points of the Toffees.

1st: Southampton (32%)

Claiming nearly a third of the votes, Southampton’s 3-0 win against Leicester City has been deemed to be the best performance in the Premier League this past weekend. The Saints put a run of four straight league defeats behind them to beat the champions emphatically and give themselves some much-needed momentum going into the League Cup semi-final second-leg.
