Jack Grealish has spoken about his admiration for Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka, with the two becoming close friends over the years with England as the pair have both impressed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking to TalkSport, the £100m Manchester City superstar was asked about numerous England teammates ahead of the Three Lions massive group stage clash against Wales on Tuesday night, with Grealish naming Saka as one of the nicest people he has ever met.
Saka has started both of England’s World Cup games so far this tournament with the attacker stealing the show against Iran as the Arsenal winger bagged a brace in a 6-2 win, with Grealish also finding the back of the net coming off the bench.

Indeed, friendships and bonds such as this are why Gareth Southgate is revered so highly amongst England players, with the mood around international camps better than ever compared to previous eras and managers. And for Grealish, the City star couldn’t stop raving about his love for Saka.
Grealish said about he Arsenal winger: “Saka is the best kid actually. I went up to his dad and told him ‘I love your son!’ He’s the nicest kid ever but he’s got a little bit of banter as well. He’s funny, man. He’s laid back but when he’s on the training pitch he’s on it. Off it he’s quite laid back and chilled.”

Grealish and Saka have been two key players for England in recent years, and the pair have once again established their importance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with the pair crucial to the Three Lions’ success in this competition.
