Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has been catching the eye at Euro 2020 for Finland as he looks to build on an impressive season at Ibrox for Steven Gerrard’s side – and a report claims that has led to Premier League side Watford seriously considering a move for the Gers favourite.

The Daily Mail claims that Kamara has been “discussed intensively” by the Hornets hierarchy as a host of other clubs keep tabs on the Rangers talisman.

Southampton, Burnley, Brighton and Leeds United are all said to be keen on the Finn while Arsenal have also reportedly been watching him with a view to a return to the Emirates.

Rangers are unlikely to want to part with one of the key members of Steven Gerrard’s title-winning side but after signing Kamara for only £50,000 in 2019, a massive bid could tempt the Gers.

Rangers star’s contract leaves the Gers with a tough decision to make

Kamara’s contract at Ibrox runs until 2023 but the Light Blues have made no secret of their desire to keep him in Glasgow beyond that.

Talks have taken place but it seems there’s been a hold-up somewhere so Rangers may have to make a decision to sell or risk losing him for free.

A crack at the Champions League this coming season is sonething that Kamara will surely be looking forward to so Rangers will be hopeful that a renewed contract can still be agreed.
