Wins for Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur while West Ham United and Manchester City share a draw, plus more.
Here are our predictions for the Premier League this weekend.
West Ham United v Manchester City
Two of the Premier League’s form teams meet at Upton Park and it will be interesting to see if the Hammers have what it takes to get anything against the Premier League champions.
2-2
Liverpool v Hull City
Steve Bruce will encourage his side to pile on the frustration for Liverpool as Brendan Rodgers looks for a reaction from his side after they were well beaten in the Champions League by Real Madrid. Liverpool may just have too much.
2-1
Southampton v Stoke City
The Saints showed how strong their attack was with the 8-0 thrashing of Sunderland last weekend. Southampton are the favourites and a good bet for three points, retaining their place in the top four.
3-1
Sunderland v Arsenal
Arsene Wenger will want to see a much better performance from the Gunners than they produced against Hull last weekend. Arsenal should have more than enough in attack to get over the line.
0-2
West Brom v Crystal Palace
The Baggies showed how good they can be at home when they very nearly beat Manchester United earlier this week. Crystal Palace present a very different challenge but West Brom’s defence could be the difference.
1-0
Swansea City v Leicester City
Swansea’s form has dipped slightly after they were one of the pace setters over the early part of the season. Both of these teams have scored the same number of goals though Swansea’s defence has been more effective.
2-1
Burnley v Everton
Everton have leaked plenty of goals this season and that will inspire Burnley to perform in front of their own fans. However, Everton have scored 12 more goals so far this season.
1-2
Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United
Spurs have struggled at times this season when they have had to play games so shortly after their Europa League commitments. However, Newcastle are yet to make it into double figures as they sit in the bottom three and the home side should sneak a win.
1-0
Manchester United v Chelsea
The pick of the weekend’s games. Can United’s excellent attack match up to the efficiency from this Chelsea team? The Blues will be confident they can take advantage of a United defence which has leaked goals all season.
1-2
Queens Park Rangers v Aston Villa
QPR have had a week to reflect on not getting anything in a game they deserved to win against Liverpool. That can be dangerous but hopefully Harry Redknapp has motivated his players effectively. Paul Lambert will stress that his team can get into the top half with a win.
2-1
