Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Norwich are all backed for big wins this weekend.
Here are the predictions …
Chelsea v Everton: 2-1
The battle of the blues at Stamford Bridge this weekend – and one that is massive for both teams in their respective chases this season.
It seems a game that on paper Chelsea have to win – and at the moment they seem to be winning all those particular games the Mourinho way.
Expect the same this weekend.
Arsenal v Sunderland: 3-1
Arsenal are reeling from Champions League defeat – but if they are to win the title they need to recover from such performances.
A comfortable win on the cards … although they could concede.
Cardiff v Hull: 1-1
Two teams who looked evenly matched on paper – and that should surely play out in the result of this game.
Manchester City v Stoke: 4-0
The Citizens are in a bad mood – and Stoke have the displeasure of visiting the goal festival that is The Etihad Stadium.
Expect City to go all guns blazing at Mark Hughes.
West Brom v Fulham: 1-1
Fulham have a new gaffer and Felix Magath is a manager who expects results.
Is his hard approach what these Fulham players need – I am not sure, but I am similarly unsure about Pepe Mel at The Hawthorns.
Go with a draw on this one.
West Ham v Southampton: 2-2
Southampton play the type of football that West Ham’s defence can’t stand – West Ham play the type of football Southampton cannot stand.
Draw likely but with goals apiece.
Crystal Palace v Manchester United: 0-1
United NEED a result in this game but Selhurst Park would not be the ideal location.
However they might just have enough on this occasion to claim a needed victory.
Liverpool v Swansea: 3-0
Garry Monk might just be about to receive a shock.
He has so far looked the part in the manager job at The Liberty Stadium – but Liverpool are rampant.
Sturridge and Suarez should give him an overdue welcome to football management.
Newcastle v Aston Villa: 1-2
Just cannot see it happening for Newcastle at the moment. Confidence appears low and Villa are better away from home then at Villa Park.
A vital away win for Paul Lambert could be on the cards.
Norwich v Tottenham: 2-1
I just have a feeling about Norwich now. I feel they are staying up – and to do so they need to win some big games.
They could start against Spurs.
