HITC sources can confirm that AFC Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Leeds United for Luis Sinisterra.

The Colombian winger was signed by The Cherries in the summer on-loan with an option from the Championship outfit.

January attempt

Now HITC can confirm that Bournemouth have made a move to finalise an agreement now rather than wait until the summer. Sources have confirmed that Leeds have accepted a £20million deal.

HITC also understands that Bournemouth tried to do the deal in January, but at the time they could not agree terms.

Now the deal is in place and the 24-year-old South American has also agreed to make the move to the South Coast.

After making his move on deadline day Sinisterra took time working his way into the plans of Cherries boss Andoni Iraola – but he has now done that and is impressing with two goals and two assists in his last seven games.

Iraola impressed

Speaking earlier in the season, Iraola admitted he was a big fan of the winger.

“He is very good, especially offensively, he is a difference-maker. We need him,” he told the Bournemouth Echo.

“I think Luis has proven his level in England and the Premier League.”
