John Terry has labelled Mark Noble a ‘Premier League legend’ after he played his final home game for West Ham United.
After 18 years, the one-club man will be hanging up his boots at the end of the season.
On Sunday, it was an emotional afternoon for all involved at the London Stadium, with Noble coming onto the pitch in the 77th minute during West Ham’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City.
In all competitions, the Englishman has made 567 appearances for the club – and will bow out for the final time away at Brighton at the weekend.
Nonetheless, Terry posted on his Instagram story that Noble is ‘not only a West Ham legend but a Premier League legend’.
Former Hammers centre-back, Rio Ferdinand, also took to his IG story yesterday and he added: ‘Legend. Enjoy retirement’.

It has been some journey for Noble in West Ham colours and a modern-day great for the London club.
Many will feel it’s a shame that he was never capped by his country because he probably deserved some England recognition during his career.
One thing is for sure, Noble is bowing out with the Hammers in a very good position under David Moyes.
The future is bright with players like Declan Rice in the middle of the park, as they will be hoping to pip Manchester United to Europa League football on the final day of the season.
