HITC Sport understands Premier League clubs are eyeing the Huddersfield winger.

A number of Premier League clubs are weighing up a move for Huddersfield Town winger Rajiv van La Parra, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Van La Parra has been instrumental in Huddersfield success this season with the Terriers surprise contenders for promotion to the Premier League.

The former Feyenoord man’s displays for Huddersfield have not gone unnoticed with several Premier League sides keeping tabs on van La Parra as they look to bolster their attacking options in the January transfer window.

The former Holland Under-21 international initially joined Huddersfield on loan last March from Wolverhampton Wanderers before making the move permanent at the end of the season.

Van La Parra arrived in England in the summer of 2014 when he joined Wolves on a free transfer from Heerenveen.

The skilful wide man made over 50 appearances for Wolves and he enjoyed a short loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion last season, scoring two goals in six appearances after finding himself out of favour at Wolves.

Huddersfield would not welcome any interest in van La Parra this month as they look to maintain their bid for promotion, but they could find their resolve tested if the winger’s Premier League suitors firm up their interest.
