A recent report had suggested that the Tottenham Hotspur man was on their radar, and Swansea boss Bob Bradley has now confirmed some interest.
Bob Bradley has confirmed that Swansea City have discussed the idea of trying to bring Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll back to the Liberty Stadium during the January transfer window, the Daily Mail reports.
A recent report in The Sun suggested that the Swans were plotting a move for the 24-year-old, and hinted that Spurs rated the academy graduate at £10m.

And Bradley has seemingly confirmed that there is, at least, some truth in the report by suggesting that the hierarchy have held talks about bringing the former loanee back to the club ahead of what promises to be a crucial month for the relegation candidates.
“Tom is a player that everyone here knows. He is certainly a good footballer, and he is a player that has been discussed. Tom is tactically sharp and he is a good passer, which are qualities that a team can use,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.

With Carroll making little impact for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this term, he may relish the opportunity to join Swansea if they do decide to come in with a bid.
The midfielder is swiftly approaching what should be the best years of his career so it would hardly be a surprise if he was keen on securing a move away from White Hart Lane if it boosted his chances of playing regular first-team football, even if that meant leaving a potential title contender for a team that some are tipping to be playing their football in the Championship next season.
