Spain have announced their preliminary 30-man squad for the World Cup with Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal stars included.
Goalkeepers: Casillas, Reina, De Gea
Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Pique, Alba, Azpilicueta, Juanfran, Javi Martinez, Albiol, Moreno
Midfielders: Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Alonso, Iturraspe, Silva, Cazorla, Koke, Thiago, Mata, Navas
Attackers: Costa, Villa, Negredo, Pedro, Llorente, Torres
Spain have announced their provisional 30-man squad for this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
The line-up is chock-full of world-class talent and begs the question: Who on earth is going to be left out?
It is going to be a very tough decision for Spain coach Vicente del Bosque, who will reveal which 23 men have made it on 25 May.
Spain begin the defence of their title with a mouth-watering tie against Holland in Group B, before facing Chile and Australia later that month.
There are a number of English-based players in the provisional squad, including Manchester City trio Jesus Navas, David Silva and Alvaro Negredo, Manchester United pair David de Gea and Juan Mata and Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla.
Chelsea also have two players in the squad in the form of Cesar Azpilicueta and Fernando Torres.
Considering the competition for places it appears Mata, Cazorla and Torres are those players at most risk of not making the cut at this stage.
