Watford face tricky May games against Liverpool, Leicester City, Everton, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Liverpool (H)
Jurgen Klopp’s side arrive at Vicarage Road on the back of a disappointing home defeat to Crystal Palace. With their Champions League place in danger, the Reds will be desperate to claim all three points from Walter Mazzarri’s men, who they demolished 6-1 at Anfield back in November.
Watford will also be reeling following their loss to the 10-men of relegation strugglers Hull City. We can expect a reaction from the Hornets after Troy Deeney’s stirring words at the KCOM Stadium, but the visitors should have enough to grind out a victory, just as they recently did at the Hawthorns.
Prediction: Lose
Leicester City (A)
Following their resurgence under new boss Craig Shakespeare, the Premier League Champions look set to escape a humbling relegation to the Championship. Much of that is owed to the Foxes’ decent home record, which has included recent wins against Sunderland, Stoke City and Hull City at the King Power Stadium.
To make matters worse for Mazzarri, his side have not won on their travels since their surprise victory over Arsenal at the end of January. This might be Watford’s best opportunity to pick up points but I still anticipate a narrow win for the hosts.

Everton (A)
Speaking of impressive home performers, Ronald Koeman has made Goodison Park a fortress since he took the Everton job in the summer. If they are to take anything from the game, Watford will need to work a defensive miracle to keep out the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and Tom Davies.
One slight glimmer of optimism for the Hornets is that they defeated the Toffees back in December. Maybe Mazzarri can pull of an unlikely double – and record Watford’s first away win at Everton in the club’s history. Probably not.
Prediction: Lose
Chelsea (A)
Watford’s third away game on the spin will surely be their most challenging.
Chelsea will either be playing to win the Premier League title or playing with the freedom of a side that has just won the Premier League trophy. Either way, Stamford Bridge has not been a pleasant trip for visiting sides this season.
This should be a convincing win for Antonio Conte’s side.

Manchester City (H)
With the race for the top four as tight as it is, Manchester City might need three points on the final day of the season to secure Champions League football. If that is the case, the Citizens will throw every at the Hornets in search of a dominate victory.
Watford will have their fingers crossed that City have already wrapped up their season and Guardiola decides to field a youthful line-up.
