Swansea City will face Arsenal, Watford, Stoke, Manchester United and Everton in their next five games.
How will Bob Bradley do in his first game as Swansea manager on Saturday?
Swansea have had a dreadful start to the league, with the Swans currently sitting 17th in the table and amongst the relegation zone. The South Wales outfit have only managed one win which came on the opening day of the season and clearly need to start picking up points.
With the appointment of new American manager Bob Bradley, all eyes will be on Swansea and how they perform under their new manager.
HITC takes a look at Swansea’s next five games and predicts the outcome:
Arsenal (away) – 1-1 draw
In Bob Bradley’s first game as Swansea manager, Arsenal will go into this match as heavy favourites. However, Swansea have proven this season that they can put up a fight against the top teams. With a new manager, the Swans team will be full of confidence and fired up. After three defeats on the bounce, there will be a lot pressure on Swansea to get something out of the game. A draw for the Swans at the Emirates would be a great result for Bradley.
Watford (home) – 2-0 win
Bob Bradley will take charge of his first game at the Liberty. The crowd will no doubt get behind their new manager and players. The Swans should use this to their advantage and try and secure their second victory of the season. Watford will not be easy, Walter Mazzarri’s side recently won 2-1 against Manchester United, Watford will be a challenge for the Swans but the game is must win if they want to avoid the bottom three. The Welsh side have been unlucky lately but should be able to secure three points here.
Stoke (away) – 2-1 defeat
Swansea’s predicted unbeaten start after the international break may come to an end against Stoke. Mark Hughes side have had a dismal start to the league. However, Stoke’s side have the quality of Wilfred Bony and Bruno Martins – players who have yet to perform to the level that fans know they can.

The extent of Joe Allen’s hamstring injury is still to be announced but the Welshman should be fit for the Swans game – Allen is another player who is vital to Stoke and could be influential in this game. Stoke will soon start winning games and that could well start against Swansea.

Manchester United (home) – 3-2 defeat
In a game predicted to be neck and neck, the Swans will not make the match easy for Manchester United. The outcome for Swansea looks similar to previous games against Manchester City and Liverpool. Ultimately, United’s squad depth could be a problem for Bradley’s team. A defeat for Jose Mourinho would be unthinkable for the manager. United are currently sixth and the Red Devils know that they have to win in order to compete at the top.
Everton (away) 1-1 draw
Swansea will face former captain Ashley Williams for the first time since his summer move to Everton. Swansea’s record against Everton is not great, only ever winning two games in all competitions against the Blues. However, the Swans should battle hard to earn a deserved point against the toffees. A draw would be a great result against an Everton side who currently sit fifth.
