Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers will face Motherwell and Celtic in the Scottish Premiership during the festive period.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is seen during the Scottish Cup Quarter final match between Rangers and Hamilton Academical at Ibrox Stadium on March 4, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rangers v Motherwell (December 27, 2017)

Rangers are doing much better than Motherwell are at the moment, and playing at home is going to give the Gers another advantage.

The Ibrox club have a much better team than Motherwell do, and Graeme Murty’s side should be able to pick up all three points with relative ease.

It could get tricky, though, if the Gers allow the visiting team to score first.

Prediction: Rangers 2-0 Motherwell

Celtic v Rangers (December 30, 2017)

There is no doubt that Celtic have a much better team than Rangers do, but this is a derby game and anything is possible.

The Celtic Park faithful will expect Brendan Rodgers’s side to win and so will most of the neutral fans, which means that the pressure will be high on the Bhoys.

Rangers have a good bunch of players, and although not many will expect them to actually win at Celtic, one should not be surprised if they pick up a point from the Old Firm derby.

Prediction: Celtic 1-1 Rangers
