Brendan Rodgers continues to try and lead Celtic to a successful season ahead of a big set of games.
It has been a mixed season so far for Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers. In terms of domestic success things are going well, however the Champions League has brought a number of disappointing results including a demolition at the hands of Barcelona. Nevertheless, all Celtic can do it look to the future as they get ready for a big set of fixtures.
Kilmarnock manager Lee Clark
Kilmarnock – Away
This should be lather, rinse repeat for Celtic against a poor Kilmarnock side. They have more than enough quality to put them away and despite their tendency to drop points at random intervals, they are strong enough to see this result through. Rodgers may well put out a slightly weaker side, but either way a victory will be expected.
Prediction: Kilmarnock 1-3 Celtic
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi during training
Barcelona – Home
This is a fixture that has brought Celtic some of their greatest moments, especially in recent years. Unfortunately they were put to the sword at the Nou Camp, meaning they will be eager for revenge in this one. It will be a phenomenal atmosphere, but Barcelona will just about see it through for the win.
Prediction: Celtic 0-2 Barcelona
St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright
St. Johnstone – Home
St. Johnstone have been anything but consistent so far this campaign, but they do find themselves in the top half of the table. Fresh off of what it sure to be a tiring game against Barca, Celtic could struggle here especially if they don’t get an early goal. It will be a tight affair, with both sides likely to share the spoils.
