Liverpool are not having the best of times in the Premier League this season and are unlikely to challenge for the title. However, the former UEFA Champions League winners remain in the race for the top four, but for them to be successful in their quest, they have to be on top form and cannot afford any slip-ups during the festive period.
Aston Villa are doing well under new manager Unai Emery, and playing at home will give them an advantage. Emery has been in charge of the likes of Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, and the Spaniard knows how to win against good teams.
We think that Villa will stop Liverpool from winning on Boxing Day and will pick up a point from the encounter at Villa Park. The Villans have home advantage, and the players will be determined to put on a show for the fans.

Liverpool vs Leicester City, December 30
Leicester City are having a torrid time in the Premier League at the moment, and it is very likely that the former English champions will not end up in the top four.
Liverpool have a far superior team to the Foxes, and we have no doubt whatsoever that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will pick up all three points against the Foxes at Anfield.

Brentford vs Liverpool, January 2
Brentford are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and could end up in the top 10. The Bees are not going to get carried away, of course, but they will be confident of beating a Liverpool side who need to be better defensively. After all, the Merseyside club have conceded 17 goals in 14 Premier League matches so far this season.
Klopp does have the better team, and we are confident that they will win against Brentford. It will not be easy, as the Bees can hurt the Reds defensively, but we believe that Liverpool have enough firepower to get the job done.
