Leeds United will face Burton Albion, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest in the Championship during the festive period.

Burton Albion v Leeds United, December 26
Burton Albion are struggling for survival in the Championship at the moment, and they are in genuine danger of going down to League One at the end of the season. Playing at home, though, will give Nigel Clough’s side some advantage.
The Brewers will be happy with a draw, meaning that Leeds United will have to work very hard to break down the home team’s defence. Leeds do have some good attacking players, and they should be able to eke out a narrow 1-0 win.
Prediction: Burton Albion 0-1 Leeds United

Birmingham City v Leeds United, December 30
Just like Burton, Birmingham City are also facing the prospect of playing in League One next season. Birmingham do have a decent team, and the players will be determined to give the home fans something to cheer about just before New Year.
Once again, Leeds will have to contend with a team who will make it hard for them defensively, but Thomas Christiansen’s side should be able to register a narrow victory.
Prediction: Birmingham City 1-2 Leeds United

Leeds United v Nottingham Forest, January 1
Nottingham Forest are having a rather strange season. Although no one genuinely expects them to finish in the top six of the Championship, there have been signs that Mark Warburton’s side could end up in the playoffs.
There have have also been games in which Forest simply have failed to turn up. Inconsistency is a problem for the Reds, who are unlikely to get anything from the game against Leeds at Elland Road on New Year’s Day.
Prediction: Leeds United 2-0 Nottingham Forest
