Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers, Heart of Midlothian, Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock and Ross County in their next five competitive matches.

Celtic Park

Heart of Midlothian v Celtic

Heart of Midlothian are having a decent season and could up fourth in the Scottish Premiership table. It will not be easy for Celtic to win against Hearts away from home at the Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh, but they should just about edge it.

Prediction: Heart of Midlothian 1-2 Celtic

Celtic v Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle look set to end the season in mid-table, and it is hard to see them posing a challenge to Celtic. It will come as a surprise if Brendan Rodgers’s side fail to win the game by at least three clear goals.

Prediction: Celtic 3-0 Partick Thistle

Celtic v Kilmarnock

Celtic will have probably won the Scottish Premiership title by this point, and one suspects that manager Brendan Rodgers could give chances to some of the younger and fringe players. A draw could be the final outcome.

Prediction: Celtic 1-1 Kilmarnock

Ross County v Celtic

Ross County may have an advantage playing at home, but the Hoops should be able to bag all three points with ease.

Prediction: Ross County 0-4 Celtic

Celtic v Rangers

The Scottish Cup semi-final tie between Celtic and Rangers at Hampden Park in Glasgow promises to be hugely entertaining. It should be a tight game, and one should not be surprised if a single goal separates the two teams. Celtic will head into the Old Firm derby as favourites and could just about edge it.

Prediction: Celtic 1-0 Rangers
