Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Dundee and Rangers in the Scottish Premiership during the festive period.

Manager of Celtic Brendan Rodgers looks on during the Betfred Cup Semi-Final at Hampden Park on October 21, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Dundee v Celtic (December 26, 2017)

Dundee are struggling for survival in the Scottish Premiership at the moment, while Celtic have the best team in Scotland.

It is a massive mismatch, and it is hard to see Brendan Rodgers’s side drop even a point at Dens Park. If the Bhoys field their strongest team, then the floodgates could open.

Prediction: Dundee 0-4 Celtic

Celtic's head coach Brendan Rodgers talks during a press conference in Brussels on September 26, 2017 on the eve of the Champions League group B) football match against RSC Anderlecht.

Celtic v Rangers (December 30, 2017)

Celtic will relish the chance of taking on Rangers in their final competitive game of 2017.

Although it is clear that the Hoops have a much better team than the Gers, everything is possible in the Old Firm derby.

It is imperative that Celtic do not concede the first goal, or that would enhance Rangers’ confidence.

The Gers have been doing well under caretaker-manager Graeme Murty, and the Ibrox faithful will expect the team to get at least a point at Celtic Park.

Prediction: Celtic 1-1 Rangers
