Bristol City are flying high in the Championship, and their next three games will give a good indication of their credentials.
Nobody quite expected the Robins to make the start they have done so far this season, with youngster Tammy Abraham leading the way for a side that now have very realistic hopes of the play-offs. However, the month of November will prove to be a big test in showing what they are made of.

Brighton & Hove Albion – Home
Things will not get much tougher than this for the Robins, but the fact the game is being played at Ashton Gate will be a huge advantage for them. Brighton have looked lethal going forward whilst also maintaining a strong defensive unit, so this will be an interesting chess match between two of the league’s top sides.
Prediction: Bristol City 0-0 Brighton
Birmingham manager Gary Rowett
Birmingham City – Away
Birmingham are in a similar position to Bristol City in the sense that nobody really expected them to be serious challengers this season, yet here they are. Over the last few weeks they have been more inconsistent than usual and with the quality the Robins have up top, they should have full confidence in coming away from St Andrew’s with a victory.
Prediction: Birmingham 1-2 Bristol City
Reading manager Jaap Stam
Reading – Away
Under Jaap Stam, Reading have turned into one of the league’s most feared sides. They are tricky to play against especially at the Madjeski, and their unpredictability will certainly challenge Johnson’s men. It will be a tight encounter with both sides eager to solidify their place in the top six.
Prediction: Reading 1-1 Bristol City
