Huddersfield Town – Away

Huddersfield’s surge for promotion has taken something of a hit in the last few weeks and all of a sudden the play-offs are looking a more likely prospect. Both sides have had their share of inconsistent results so far this season, and given their presence in front of goal this one could well turn into a shootout.

Prediction: Huddersfield 2-2 Birmingham

Bristol City – Home

This could prove to be a really tricky tie for Birmingham, especially given their tendency to sometimes crumble under pressure. Bristol City’s never say die attitude could unsettle the Blues, and they need to assert their authority from the get go or else the Robins will control the game at St Andrew’s.

Prediction: Birmingham 1-2 Bristol City

Brentford – Away

A trip to Brentford could be exactly what Birmingham need to pick up a morale boosting away victory given the Bees’ questionable home results against the likes of Wigan and Barnsley. It will be a tough contest but the Midlands side should be able to edge past Dean Smith’s side en route to a much needed victory.

Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Birmingham
