West Ham United welcome Middlesbrough to the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon for their latest Premier League clash.

It is fair to say that the Hammers are struggling to adapt to their new surroundings, with Slaven Bilic’s men winning just once in the league so far and finding themselves in the bottom three as a result.

In contrast Middlesbrough are two points and two places better off as things stand, but that could quickly change if Bilic can get his talented squad firing on all cylinders.

In early team news, West Ham are without Arthur Masuaku, Aaron Cresswell, Andre Ayew, Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll due to injury, while Middlesbrough are without long-term absentees Grant Leadbitter and Fabio Da Silva.

West Ham need to get some wins – and some good performances – under their belts and what better time to start than this weekend, because if they do not turn things round quickly, they could be in for the kind of campaign few expected in August.
