West Ham United face Arsenal in the cup quarter-final this week.

West Ham United are in resurgent form under new manager David Moyes, and they will be hoping that continues when they face Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup later this week.

The Hammers held the Gunners to a 0-0 draw in the Premier League earlier in the month and now they have the chance to go one better, reaching the last four of the competition in the process.

While many clubs make wholesale changes in the tournament, West Ham are likely to go as strong as possible with Moyes no doubt keen to add some unlikely silverware during his initial six-month stint at the London Stadium.

In early team news West Ham are without Cheikhou Kouyate, Sam Byram and Jose Fonte, while Edimilson Fernandes, Mark Noble and Marko Arnautovic are all doubts.

West Ham still have a lot to do in the league before they can look up rather than down, yet the confidence of reaching the last four of a major cup competition cannot be understated and they should go strong for this clash.
