Aston Villa are the only club in the Premier League with a 100 per cent record.

They have four wins from four games and host Leeds tomorrow night in a match which could see them go top of the league with fifth victory.

Clever recruitment has put Villa in this strong position after a flying start, but will there be any team selection surprises here?

In truth, it would be a surprise if Smith tinkered too much with a winning formula.

That means Emi Martinez should play, looking to add another clean sheet to the three he has already amassed this season.

Villa’s strong defensive record likely means the back four will remain the same too.

Matty Cash has settled well and Ezri Konsa has shone this season, with left-footed pair Tyrone Mings and Matt Targett expected to complete the backline.

As per the Birmingham Mail, Ross Barkley has an injury which meant he didn’t train much last week, but it would be a surprise if he didn’t manage that carefully and play here.

John McGinn has been in fine form, and Douglas Luiz anchors midfield effectively.

Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins are shoo-ins, and we expect Trezeguet to start on the right of midfield, despite pressure from Bertrand Traore.

Perhaps the biggest question mark lies over Keinan Davis, who was not in the squad for the Leicester trip through injury.

After Smith’s fitness update on the hitman, stating he is expected to train today, we’d expect him to return to the bench, where he will be hoping to add to his 28 minutes of Premier League football so far this season.
