Tottenham Hotspur go into Thursday night’s game against Ludogorets with their line-up looking very uncertain.

Jose Mourinho has tended to rotate in European competition so far, but Tottenham lost 1-0 to Antwerp and he slammed his fringe players after their last game in the Europa League.

Mourinho suggested that he may be more reluctant to pick his back-up players from now on, and Spurs will know the importance of picking up the three points tomorrow.

That could see Mourinho pick a stronger line-up than he did in Tottenham’s game against Antwerp.

However, some changes will still surely be made, as he looks to keep things fresh.

Joe Hart looks likely to start in goal, while Davinson Sanchez will surely get game time in central defence.

Elsewhere, Giovani Lo Celso could come back in and 25-year-old Carlos Vinicius may be backed to start up top.

Mourinho has already confirmed that Gareth Bale will feature from the off, and Lucas Moura could well be backed to play, after £27 million man Steven Bergwijn (BBC Sport) failed to impress in his last appearance.

Dele Alli will surely be champing at the bit to feature for Tottenham, but that seems unlikely given he was hooked at half-time against Antwerp and then left out.

Predicted Spurs XI: Hart; Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Lo Celso; Bale, Lucas, Vinicius.
