Here is how we predict Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland will line up this weekend:

To be played on Sunday 18th September 2016 at 15:30. Venue: White Hart Lane, London

Odds: Tottenham 1/3, Draw 4/1, Sunderland 17/2

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Sunderland to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon for their latest Premier League clash.

Spurs will be smarting from their 2-1 defeat to AS Monaco in the Champions League and they will want to play far more like they did when they hammered Stoke City 4-0 earlier this month.

Tottenham are currently fifth in the table with eight points from a possible 12 while Sunderland are struggling at the opposite end with just one point to show from their efforts to date.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino

That leaves them 19th in the table, with Black Cats manager David Moyes desperate to get his side on a decent run to ensure it is not another relegation battle at the Stadium of Light.

In early team news, Tottenham are likely to be without Danny Rose due to a hamstring injury but they have an otherwise clean bill of health.

Sunderland cannot call on Vito Mannone, Billy Jones, Seb Larsson or Fabio Borini while recent addition Victor Anichebe is lacking match fitness.
