Here is how we predict Tottenham Hotspur will line up against Real Madrid this week:

Tottenham Hotspur face their biggest challenge of the season so far when they take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu Stadium later this week.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have impressed in Europe thus far, taking maximum points from games against Apoel Nicosia and Borussia Dortmund, but Tuesday’s clash is an entirely different prospect and Tottenham will have to be at their very best to take anything away from the encounter.

Spurs are looking good domestically, with their 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday keeping them in touch with the Manchester clubs at the top of the table. Now they will be hoping to get a hard-earned victory in Spain.

In early team news, Tottenham are without Danny Rose, Moussa Dembele Victor Wanyama and Erik Lamela, while Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is a minor doubt after he picked up concussion last time out.

Ben Davies missed the match against the Cherries will illness, and while he be hoping to recover in time for this fixture after impressing in the early weeks of the campaign Pochettino is not so sure.

A victory for Tottenham would see them on the cusp of qualification for the knockout stages, but perhaps a draw is the best outcome they can hope for, especially in Real’s back yard.
