Tottenham Hotspur welcome Real Madrid to Wembley this week for their latest Champions League group clash, and Spurs will be quietly confident after holding the Spanish giants to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture.

That point means Tottenham are currently top of Group H with seven points from three matches, and if they can get the better of Real this week they will secure qualification for the knockout stages with plenty of time to spare.

Spurs’ top-scorer Harry Kane missed the weekend clash against Manchester United with a minor injury but his club are hopeful he will be back for this huge clash.

If Tottenham want to get all three points, Kane will be vital, and some of their other players will have to up their own games after under-performing at Old Trafford on Saturday.

While Kane should make it back, Tottenham are still unable to call on Erik Lamela or Victor Wanyama, but they have an otherwise clean bill of health. While Dele Alli is available after suspension the young midfielder should be left out after a poor run of form.

With all that in mind here is how we expect Tottenham to line up against Real on Wednesday evening:
