Tottenham Hotspur travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to take on Manchester City in their latest Premier League clash.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are back on a winning run after defeating Stoke City and Brighton and Hove Albion in the last week, but their next clash is a different prospect entirely, with Pep Guardiola’s team already 11 points clear at the top of the table.

City’s 2-1 win against closest challengers Manchester United last weekend saw many fans conceding the title to the Blues this side of Christmas. However Tottenham will have other ideas and will know they have the players to overcome the hosts if they play to the their full potential.

Tottenham are currently fourth in the table with 31 points from 17 matches and, with Liverpool, Burnley and Arsenal hot on their heels, Spurs will not want to drop any more points prior to the festive fixtures.

In early team news, Tottenham are without Victor Wanyama, Toby Alderweireld and the suspended Davinson Sanchez, but they still have more than enough to cause City problems in their own back yard.
