Tottenham Hotspur welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Wembley on Wednesday evening for their latest Premier League clash and Spurs will be hoping to build on their impressive 5-1 victory against Stoke City last time out.
With impressive performances from the likes of Harry Kane and Mousa Dembele, Tottenham looked back to their best against a Potters side that simply could not cope with Mauricio Pochettino’s free-flowing team.
Now it is up to Spurs to build some momentum heading into the Christmas and New Year fixtures, with the games coming thick and fast and Tottenham not wanting to fall further behind with everyone bar Manchester City on a similar level this season.
In early team news, Tottenham are still without Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Victor Wanyama but they have an otherwise clean bill of health.
Spurs winger Erik Lamela will be hoping to make his first start since returning from injury and, having impressed against Stoke after coming off the bench, the time could be right for the Argentine to kick off a match for the first time in 13 months.
