Tottenham Hotspur and APOEL Nicosia go head-to-head this week.

Tottenham Hotspur conclude their Champions League group stage with a home match against APOEL Nicosia on Wednesday evening and, while Spurs have already reached the knockout stages as group winners, their manager Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to get back to winning ways after watching his side fail to secure a victory in their last four league games.
That poor form has seen Tottenham slip down to sixth in the table and, with 18 points separating them and Premier League leaders Manchester City, Spurs’ title tilt is already well and truly over.
They could have better luck in Europe though, having already taken four points off Real Madrid and with plenty of reasons to be positive heading into the next phase of the competition.
In early team news Tottenham are without Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama but they have an otherwise clean bill of health.
Davinson Sanchez is available for this match, despite facing a domestic ban following his red card against Watford, and Tottenham are expected to go strong as they bid to build some confidence ahead of the busy festive fixtures.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Tottenham to line up against APOEL later this week:
