Tottenham Hotspur are back in action this evening as they travel to Portugal to take on Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League.

Spurs finished seventh in the Premier League last season, meaning they missed out on the Europa League and had to settle for the brand new Conference League.

This isn’t what Tottenham fans wanted, but the first play-off game takes place tonight with Nuno Espirito Santo facing off against Pacos de Ferreira.

You can expect to see many changes from Nuno tonight, and here is our best guess at a predicted lineup for tonight’s game…

Hugo Lloris started against Manchester City, but this seems like the absolutely perfect time to give Pierluigi Gollini his Tottenham debut between the sticks.

You can expect to see a whole new back four here, meaning Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Sergio Reguilon will drop out.

Matt Doherty and Ben Davies are primed for full back roles, whilst Cristian Romero is in line for a first start having come off the bench against City on Sunday.

His centre back partner is a toss-up between Cameron Carter-Vickers and Joe Rodon, but we’re backing the latter for a deserved start.

This seems like a good opportunity to start with Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks in midfield, whilst Nile John should be given a chance to show his potential.

Ryan Sessegnon was in training on Wednesday and could start on the left flank, whilst new signing Bryan Gil will be available to play on the right side.

Harry Kane isn’t going to play, so teenager Dane Scarlett looks set to make his first senior start for Tottenham in an exciting occasion for Spurs fans.

Predicted Tottenham XI v Pacos de Ferreira: Gollini; Doherty, Romero, Rodon, Davies; John, Winks, Lo Celso; Gil, Scarlett, Sessegnon.
