Mauricio Pochettino has much to ponder ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Everton on Sunday.

Spurs have struggled throughout the campaign so far, and although they put in a spirited display at Anfield in their last outing, they were beaten by Liverpool.

The positions of Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Harry Winks, Serge Aurier and Danny Rose all must be under threat now, as the quintet all failed to impress on Merseyside.

Pochettino has rung the changes consistently this season, as he has searched for his best side.

And it could be that Tottenham make a number of changes on Sunday.

Tanguy Ndombele will surely come back into Spurs’s starting line-up at Goodison Park, as leaving him out was a major error by Pochettino last weekend.

Giovani Lo Celso may also be handed his first start for Spurs, as Tottenham search for more creativity in midfield.

Elsewhere, it could be that both Spurs’s full-backs are switched.

Aurier has proven that he cannot be trusted to perform without error in Tottenham’s defence, while Rose’s form has been abject this term.

And it seems that Pochettino may well rotate his side again, as he looks to find the winning formula.

Predicted line-up: Gazzaniga; Foyth, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies; Ndombele, Sissoko; Lo Celso, Alli, Son; Kane.
